About the Great Walk Foundation

The Foundation’s mission is to focus on the greater community needs within the Penrith/Blue Mountains/Hawkesbury region.  A number of local organisations were recipients of monies raised – including:

Penrith Community Kitchen ($10,000)

Riding for the Disabled Bathurst ($10,000)

Nepean Hospital – (Incubator $32,000)

Panthers On The Prowl ($3,000)

Kingswood Early Intervention ($5,000)

Lifestart Nepean ($8,000)

Life Education –Nepean Division ($2,000)

None of this would have been possible without the kindness shown by those who donated their time and money. The Great Walk Foundation is calling on those who have donated generously in the past to help make a difference for the future.

We are again hoping to raise $70,000.00 or more from the proceeds of the 2010 great walk.
